The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law seeks an experienced and energetic individual to fill the position of Senior International Programs Specialist Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for International and Graduate Affairs, the Senior International and Graduate Programs Specialist will implement matters relating to the operations of all aspects of the LLM program, Visiting Research Scholars program, Summer and Online Foundations programs, and other program development as requested by the Assistant Dean. The incumbent will plan and execute international recruitment strategies for the LL.M. program and summer Foundations program; and create and implement professional development and career services programming for internationally trained lawyers and law students. The Senior International and Graduate Programs Specialist will manage and coordinate alumni relations (outreach/communication/and engagement with the program’s ambassadors). The Senior International and Graduate Programs Specialist will also design and implement marketing plans for the LLM program, the Foundations summer and online programs, study abroad programs, and other programs as requested by the Assistant Dean; develop ideas for and execute marketing campaigns to reach audiences through various channels (social media, ads, website, flyers, etc.); deliver brand-consistent messaging; create content for marketing materials and websites; edit webpages; communicate with vendors to plan promotional events and campaigns; collaborate with Moritz’s marketing team to implement brand awareness and marketing efforts; and analyze campaign results, conversion rates and website traffic to improve future marketing activities.
Required Experience/Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
Software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, design and marketing software and applications.
Demonstrable experience in working with or advising international audiences, preferably lawyers and legal professionals. Knowledge of the legal job market in the U.S. and overseas
Demonstrable success in planning and executing social media and email marketing campaigns. International travel required.
Self-initiative, ability to generate and see projects through completion; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; creative thinking
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Cross-cultural understanding and global awareness.
Desired Experience/Education:
Master’s degree in marketing, communication or a related field, or a master’s in legal studies (or a similar advanced degree).
8-12 years’ experience in marketing data analytics and tools; working knowledge of web design.
Prior work experience in higher education, especially in law school environment; international background/study or work abroad experience.
Foreign language competency, background in recruitment and relationship cultivation.
Innovative thinking, positivity, integrity, strategic thinking, motivation, collaboration, and leadership are desired
At least one year of experience working with the International Program at the Mortiz College of Law.

Responsibilities:
Admissions: Advise and assist students with the application processes and admission requirements, including meeting one-on-one with applicants and prospective students. Process applications for all the programs, coordinate with faculty to process application reviews and communicate with applicants on admissions decisions. Serve as a liaison and point of contact for students, applicants, faculty, and internal and external stakeholders. Provide creative solutions to issues faced by applicants and prospective students and address timely applicants’ needs. Maintain and update the application & admissions databases for all programs. Prepare application and admissions reports. Manage Unite Flexapp and university admission dates. Works with the Director of Academic Excellence and collaborates on Themis Bar Prep information sessions.
LLM Program: Make LLM admission and scholarship decisions, yield of LLM admitted students, manage the scholarship budget and work with Moritz Financial Aid to disburse the scholarships each semester (Fall and Spring), as well as address any financial aid issues, Academic advising, course advising, and bar exam advising, work with Registrar and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs & Strategic Initiatives to decide on seat reservations for LLM students, course scheduling (to avoid overlaps between required LLM courses and other required bar exam courses), and on the registration process for Professional Responsibility and Business Associations courses and all courses that would need the Registrar’s approval.
Graduation management: Work with Moritz Registrar to apply for graduation for LLMs, provide Registrar after all grades are posted with the list of students to which the LLM degree should be conferred (note: LLMs who apply to transfer to the JD program should not be conferred the LLM degree until they know if they will be admitted to the JD or not), confirm students who meet the concentration requirements (and prepare the certificates of concentration), transcripts, document shipping, check the accuracy of LLM students’ names and universities printed on the Commencement Program bulletins sends an email to Moritz teams to ask each team to check accuracy of the information for their relevant student group). Work with the Registrar to verify students bar admission documents, COA, and transcript verifications.
For Hooding each May: work early with Program Director, on communication details distribution to graduating students. Send out communication to LLM students regarding graduation requirements, concentration requirements, transcript and diploma information
Administrative Support: Schedule meetings and manage the calendar for the Assistant Dean; assist the Assistant Dean with student communication and data collection. Create, maintain, and update student rosters, mailing lists, and surveys. Process purchase orders, reimbursements, and expense reports. Assist the Office with organizing events. Manage the Office’s day-to-day needs, including ordering office supplies, copying materials, mailing, and other administrative needs.
Foundations Program: Secure sufficient on-campus housing for program participants (work directly Corporate Business Development
Senior Liaison in the Office of Student Life).
