A research technician is wanted for a project in a basic science laboratory specializing in research in immunodermatology. The position will entail laboratory bench work to study basic molecular and cellular biology.

Perform routine molecular and cellular biology experimental procedures under the supervision research staff. These experimental procedures include but are not limited to processing of human skin samples for single-cell RNA-sequencing, isolation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells from whole human blood, cryosectioning, DNA/RNA/protein extraction, microscopy, cell culture, and any other experimental protocols needed to move the project forward. Maintain thorough experimental records and protocols. Perform simple data analysis.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a science-related field. 
• 3 or more years of lab experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment are essential.
• Lab experience in molecular and cell biology techniques including human cells and tissue processing, tissue sectioning, DNA/RNA isolation, microscopy.

• Experience in mouse work.
