Job Summary

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist to join the laboratory of Dr. Jay Brito Querido in the
Department of Biological Chemistry at the University of Michigan Medical School.

The lab investigates the regulation of mRNA translation initiation and its implications for human
health and disease, with a particular focus on repeat-associated non-AUG (RAN) translation.
Using cryo-electron microscopy and biochemical approaches, our goal is to elucidate the
molecular mechanisms underlying RAN translation and its contribution to neurodegeneration.
