Position Overview

Professor Trung Van Nguyen, the PI of the Electrochemical Engineering Research Group at the University of Kansas, is seeking to hire a postdoctoral researcher for a collaborative experimental and computational project with the University of Michigan that studies the chemical and electrochemical properties of supersaturated metal salt electrolytes for high-energy-density redox flow battery application.

The PI seeks individuals who are motivated and have research experience and knowledge of electrochemistry, electrochemical analytical techniques (such as CV, LS, Chronoamperometry, Chronopotentiometry, EIS, etc.), and flow batteries. Preference will be given to researchers with extensive experience in vanadium and iron salt electrolytes used in vanadium and iron redox flow batteries.

This is a 1-yr appointment with the possibility of reappointment based on performance and funding availability.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S by the effective date of the appointment.
