Postdoctoral Position – Groisman Lab – Department of Microbial Pathogenesis
We welcome applications for postdoctoral positions in the Groisman Lab in the Department of Microbial Pathogenesis at Yale School of Medicine to investigate novel molecular mechanisms governing stress responses and virulence in Salmonella Typhimurium.
Candidates must:
* have strong Ph.D. training in biochemistry, molecular biology, (genetics, or bacteriology)
* have first-author publication(s) in peer-reviewed journals
* be highly self-motivated.
Ideal candidates will want to:
* conduct original research to solve difficult biological questions
* “own” projects by developing an independent research vision through training
* establish expertise in project areas by actively seeking knowledge from colleagues and the scientific literature
* build a long-term academic career.
