Join Dr. Marcel van den Brink’s multidisciplinary team to explore innovative ways to decipher the molecular mechanisms by which the microbiome contributes to the biology of bone marrow transplantation. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a PhD degree interested in using microbiological methods with the aim of developing novel strategies to improve bone marrow transplantation and CAR T cell therapies, spanning basic science to clinical trials.

- Career Development : Over the last two decades, the van den Brink lab has mentored many postdoctoral researchers, fellows and graduate students. Dr. van den Brink has mentored over 60 postdocs, including current independent investigators who run groups in the US and Europe.
Your qualifications should include:
- A Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or related discipline is required.
- Experience in pre-clinical, animal models.
- Experience in microbiome-focused techniques including but not limited to: culturomics, metagenomics, metabolomics and computational analysis.
