Postdoctoral Associate – Girardi Lab, Department of Dermatology, Yale School of Medicine

The Girardi Lab in the Department of Dermatology at Yale School of Medicine is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to lead the development of next generation targeted antibody therapies for T cell leukemias and lymphomas. The candidate should have a strong background in biology, biochemistry, cell biology, virology, or chemistry, with a major interest in immunology and cancer biology research and be highly motivated to impact patient outcomes through translational approaches to the treatment of T cell malignancies. Experience with in vivo mouse immunotherapy models, protein/antibody engineering and conjugation, scRNAseq and flow cytometry are preferred. The ideal candidate will additionally possess excellent experimental planning and execution skills, good communication skills, an open mind and a desire to collaborate with others. You will lead independent research projects, report progress and track deliverables, work to develop new approaches and ways of thinking about the field of cancer immunology, contribute to the lab through teamwork and discussion and help to train, supervise, and mentor junior trainees. 
 
Minimum qualifications include:
 
PhD in molecular or cell biology, immunology, cancer biology, virology, or a closely related field
Demonstrated scientific contributions to the field
A track record of resolving challenging/complex technical problems
Ability to document experimental results to enable future clinical study reports and patent applications
Clarity of thought and communication in English (written and oral)
