Description

Professor Xiao Yan Xu’s research group at the School of Physics and Astronomy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, is seeking applications for postdoctoral fellow positions starting any time in 2025.

 

Xu group’s research mainly focuses on the following directions:

(1)   Novel quantum phases and phase transitions, including non-Fermi liquids, quantum spin liquids, unconventional superconductivity, novel quantum criticality

(2)   Quantum computation, including quantum entanglement, quantum magic, quantum circuits, quantum algorithms

(3)   Quantum many body computations, including sign problem theory, Quantum Monte Carlo method, DMRG, and machine learning

 

Appointments of postdoctoral fellowship positions are offered for an initial period of two years, with the possibility of extending for one additional year. The annual salary for postdoctoral fellows will be competitive, at least RMB 300,000/year.
