The Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering at The Ohio State University is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Postdoctoral Scholar to conduct advanced research in selective materials for critical mineral recovery. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor John Lenhart and contribute to ongoing research projects involving resource recovery while developing their own scholarly interests within the scope of the project.

Hiring Range: $61,008 - $69,000

Required Qualifications Ph.D. in chemistry, material science, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or similar. Expertise conducting research involving material synthesis, material characterization, and trace element analyses.

Desired Qualifications The position will require strong written and oral communication skills. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently, collaborate with an extensive team of investigators, and mentor graduate and undergraduate student researchers.
