Job Description
What We're Looking For
Baylor University is seeking an Interprofessional Behavioral Health Certificate Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will play a central role in managing and supporting the day-to-day operations of a dynamic student training and continuing education initiative in Interprofessional Behavioral Health (IBH). This position involves coordinating educational activities, managing communications with students and professional trainees, overseeing logistics for training events, and supporting program evaluation and improvement efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and committed to advancing behavioral health education and workforce development.
A bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. A master's degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate and manage daily student learning and continuing education activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for student and professional trainee communications
- Supervise the IBH certificate student selection process in collaboration with admissions and career development offices
- Assist in student mentoring, stipend management, and career development programming
- Plan and implement logistics for continuing education training series, including technical delivery platforms and participant documentation
- Coordinate and host a career launch experience for student trainees
- Support the planning and delivery of webinar trainings and internship supervisor education series
- Recruit and train standardized patient actors for simulation-based learning
- Set up and maintain telehealth case simulation recording platforms
- Maintain regular communication with regional grantees and partners, including UT Rio Grande Valley and BHE-TAC
- Meet with organizational stakeholders to inform program development and student placement
- Build and manage social media and networking platforms to support alumni engagement and career placement
- Maintain the project budget with support from the Office of the Vice Provost for Research
- Provide financial administration in consultation with key personnel
- Manage contracts with external personnel and consultants
- Assist in the collection and organization of program evaluation data
- Support the Program Director in implementing changes based on evaluation feedback
- Attend cohort sessions and contribute to ongoing program development
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
