Physical Requirements
Requires extended time standing/walking for onsite support. Handling of light weight objects up to 10 lbs. Frequent travel between various Lexington facilities and other occasional job-related travel.
Shift
Primarily Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) with some extended hours, holidays, and/or weekends per business needs.
Job Summary
The Informatics Digital Navigator will serve as a key liaison between UKHC IT and operational end users to assist with ongoing education, optimization and EMR support. Responsible for providing onsite “At The Elbow” support for improved adoption, satisfaction, efficiency, usability, and personalization of IT systems. Disseminates education regarding new changes, upgrades, project implementations and other IT user needs. Supports all types of users including physicians, clinicians and staff. Works with leadership for assigned inpatient units and clinics to establish routine review of issues, performance, and education needs. Provides real time analysis of end user issues, leveraging expertise in workflows, system functionality and enterprise standards to find solutions. Collaborates with Informatics, EMR Analysts, IT Education, PACE and other IT departments to troubleshoot issues when needed and ensure follow up to the customer.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Skills include analysis, critical thinking, problem solving, project implementation support and the ability to personalize IT systems to meet user needs. Must be organized and able to multi-task, all while maintaining clear communication and a strong focus on customer service. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor degree with a clinical background in nursing, respiratory, or other clinical role preferred.
