The main campus is located in the historic village of Kingston, and the Bay Campus is located in Narragansett. Both campuses are near major beaches in a beautiful coastal community. URI is just 30 minutes from Providence, RI and within easy reach of Newport, Boston, and New York City. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ BASIC FUNCTION: The Executive Director of Undergraduate Admission provides strategic leadership and vision for the university’s undergraduate recruitment, outreach, and admissions efforts. As a key member of the enrollment management team, the Executive Director is responsible for developing and implementing innovative, data-driven strategies to attract, recruit, and enroll a diverse and talented student body. This individual will lead a team of admission professionals, foster partnerships across campus, manage office budget, and ensure alignment with the university’s mission and enrollment goals. |

Required Qualifications | REQUIRED: 1. Master’s degree. 2. Minimum of seven years of progressive leadership experience in undergraduate recruitment and admissions. 3. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, data-informed decision-making, and emerging enrollment trends. 4. Demonstrated track record of growing a diverse applicant pool and student body regionally, nationally and globally. 5. Demonstrated strong leadership, team-building, and staff development skills. 6. Demonstrated record of developing and implementing effective, high-impact recruiting techniques and marketing plans. 7. Demonstrated experience with admissions technologies, CRMs (e.g., Slate), and data analytics tools. 8. Demonstrated managerial experience including budgeting, organizing, coordinating and supervising staff. 9. Demonstrated strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills. 10. Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills. 11. Demonstrated relationship-building skills. 12. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations. |
Preferred Qualifications | PREFERRED: 1. Demonstrated experience with Slate. 2.
