| Position Summary | A postdoctoral position is available in a collaborative Nanoscience Center hosted at Indiana University. The successful candidate will be co-mentored by Professors Sara Skrabalak (lab website ) and Xingchen Ye (lab website ) at Indiana University Bloomington. The postdoc will be expected to devote full time to center-based research initiatives and contribute actively to training and outreach efforts. More information about the Center can be found at https://csennd.iu.edu . The project will focus on developing and applying high-throughput methods for the synthesis and in-depth characterization of complex nanocrystals, with particular emphasis on their roles in heterogeneous catalysis and optoelectronic applications. |
| Basic Qualifications | Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: · Electrocatalysis · Synthesis and characterization of complex colloidal nanocrystals · Optical spectroscopy of nanomaterials · Plasmonics · Electron microscopy Desired Attributes: Proven ability in creative problem-solving, effective time management and prioritization across diverse research activities, excellent communication skills, and a strong track record of building and maintaining productive collaborative relationships. |
