| Job Description: |
- Pipeline Development & Optimization: Develop, maintain, and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data, including demultiplexing, quality control, alignment, and downstream analyses. Collaborate with the Cyber Infrastructure team to establish seamless, end-to-end data flow, integrating sequencing data with data management systems. - Bioinformatics Analysis: Assist with bioinformatics analyses for a variety of applications, including RNA-Seq, single-cell RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, ATAC-Seq, spatial transcriptomics, genome assembly and annotation, variant calling, functional analysis, and metagenomics projects. - Additional Duties: Support other bioinformatics-related tasks and departmental needs as required. |
| Expected Salary: |
$60,000 - $65,000 |
| Minimum Requirements: |
A bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
- Understanding of biostatistics and scientific data visualization. |
