ROLE of the POSITION

The AVP will ensure the development and management of a thriving academic RCA program that promotes teacher effectiveness through faculty liaison support and results in students' early academic success and works in conjunction with recruitment and admissions to cultivate strong pipelines into UNLV.
The AVP oversees the Academic Success Center as a central campus resource for holistic academic and learning support services including a team that provides Tutoring and Learning Support, Exploring Advising, Academic Transitions and Major Exploration, Student-Athlete Academic Services, Retention, Progression, and Completion efforts to deliver high priority student and academic success initiatives across the lifecycle by utilizing segmented care and targeted messaging, services, and outreach to students as they need it.
