Assist the Coordinator of Weight Training in all aspects of student-athlete weight training, including proper technique, safety and maximum performance.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for assigned teams by the Director of Strength and Conditioning

  • Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for assigned teams by the Director of Strength and Conditioning, Training, testing and evaluation of student athletes

  • Work with sport coaches and athletic training staff

  • Oversee supervision and maintenance of the strength and conditioning facility

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science

  • 3 years Strength and Conditioning experience with Division I athletics

  • Prior Division I Strength and Conditioning internship

  • Prior experience supervising interns and volunteers

  • Must have current SCCC certification through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA)

  • Must have current USA W-L1 through United States of America Weightlifting (USAW)

  • Ability to coach and demonstrate Olympic movement, power lifts, and auxiliary movements

  • Ability to use involving software such as but not limited to Excel and Word

  • Working knowledge of NCAA rules, standards, practices and procedures
