Job Description:

Adjunct faculty needed for Fall 2025 in the Department of Engineering and Physics:

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Department offers Degree Programs in Engineering and Physics. Courses support students majoring in all STEM programs. This department also partners with Eversource to offer BHCC's workforce training EPU program.

Courses taught in the Engineering and Physical Sciences Department include:

• PHY 251 General Physics I with Lab
• PHY 252 General Physics II with Lab
• ENR 101: Introduction to Engineering
• ENR 103 CMP-Aided Drawing & Design 

These courses are primarily taught on the Charlestown campus during the day and evening/weekend hours. Some courses have a remote synchronous modality or component. Please include, with your submitted materials, which courses you are qualified to teach. 

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Engineering to teach ENR courses.
• Master's degree in Physics, or closely related field, to teach PHY courses.
• Experience with College-level teaching, preferably in a Community College setting. 
• Familiarity with STEM-related softwares and technology.

Additional Information:

Salary:  $1,397.00 per credit hour
