Research Associate (Certification Project – Antisemitism in UK Universities)

The Intra-Communal Professorial Group (ICPG) is recruiting a Research Associate to support a two-year project developing a certification (kitemark) to address antisemitism in UK higher education—modelled on schemes like Athena Swan and the Race Equality Charter.

You will work with the Principal Investigator and ICPG leadership to deliver research, develop the certification framework, and pilot it in selected universities. The role is remote with occasional meetings in London and university site visits (expenses covered).

Essential Requirements

  • Postdoctoral (or equivalent) social science research experience
  • Expertise in higher education and EDI (particularly race and ethnicity)
  • Strong skills in qualitative research and report writing
  • Knowledge of anti-discrimination policy in HE
  • Proficiency in tools like SPSS
  • Ability to travel within the UK
