This exciting post within the Department of Primary Care and Mental Health will provide rich opportunities to participate in the burgeoning research portfolio with the potential to build particular special interest within the overall strategy.
The Department, Institute and local partners, offer a collaborative inter-disciplinary environment, allowing staff and trainees to develop the research skills and leadership opportunities necessary to build independent senior research careers within primary care and applied mental health research. We have a strong track record of NIHR and ESRC awards, assisted by the support of the NIHR Research Design Service based within the Department, and excellent research training and support in quantitative and qualitative research methods. We have close links to the Liverpool Clinical Trials Centre (LCTC) in the University of Liverpool, which is part of the MRC North West Hub for Trials Methodology Research. The department has a robust commitment to public and partner involvement and supports a co-production culture linked to implementation science within the ARC North West Coast.
