Project assistant in Vehicle-to-Grid, Energy Management and Optimization

Updated: about 15 hours ago
Deadline: 31 Jul 2025

We are looking for a project assistant to support research in the areas of vehicle-to-grid (V2G), local energy markets, and energy optimization. The position involves both analytical work and collaboration within research teams focused on sustainable energy systems.

The Division of Electric Power Engineering

The Division of Electric Power Engineering at Chalmers conducts research across a broad spectrum of electric power technology. The division promotes interdisciplinary research both within the university and in collaboration with external partners. Research activities are organized into four main areas: electric power systems, power electronics, electric machines, and high-voltage engineering.

Our work is based on strong theoretical foundations and is supported by extensive laboratory and field-based experimentation. The division contributes to knowledge development in electrical systems for renewables, vehicles, buildings, and industrial applications. Recent projects have addressed smart energy buildings, microgrids, and transmission system monitoring and protection, funded by the EU, national agencies, and the Swedish power industry.
