Research Fellow (Learning-based Control)

Centre for Advanced Robotics Technology Innovation (CARTIN) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop novel algorithms for multi-agent inverse reinforcement learning using degraded human feedbacks.

  • Develop distributed localization approaches for multi-agent systems.

  • Investigate the suitability of various sensors for robot navigation in human-sense environment.

  • Develop robot localization approach leveraging data from multiple sensors including but not limited to camera and lidars.

  • Develop efficient approach for multi-robot trajectory planning and tracking control using deep learning.

  • Implement and test new algorithms in actual robot platforms.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field.

  • Hands on research experiences in autonomous robots or network localization.

  • Experienced on multi-agent systems, trajectory planning, learning or control.

  • Good publication records and demonstrable intellectual excellence.

  • Familiar with various sensor fusion approach and robot development tools.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
