Front of House Supervisor
12 month fixed-term role to lead and support a dynamic Front of House team to deliver exceptional dining and event experiences on campus.
Mō te tūka | The role
Join our Catering Services team in a hands-on leadership role, coordinating dining hall and function services. You'll train and supervise Front of House staff, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery for students, staff, and external clients.
Some Tasks of the Role Include:
- Coordinate staffing and rosters for dining and functions
- Oversee setup, service, and equipment for events
- Train FOH staff and lead daily toolbox meetings
- Monitor food safety, hygiene, and uniform standards
- Manage stock levels and submit monthly reports
- Ensure clear communication with chefs and event teams
This is a 12-month fixed term role covering parental leave, working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday: 10:00 am - 6:30 pm. Salary is set at: $62,487 per annum (approx. $29.26/hr).

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in hospitality or event coordination
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and dietary requirements
- Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence in training and supervising diverse teams
