Duties

The appointees will be required to work for one of the constituent research units – Research Institute for Federated Learning (RIFL) (to be established) under the PolyU Academy for Artificial Intelligence (PAAI). They will assist the project leader in the research project - “Federated foundation models for domain-specific applications”.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a)    have a doctoral degree or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;

(b)    have solid academic background from a top University and well-aligned research experience in federated learning, large foundation models or collaborative agents, etc.;

(c)    have experience in research proposal development;

(d)    have strong publication records in top AI conference and journals;

(e)    have good communication skills in both English and Chinese; and

(f)    be self-motivated.
