Duties and Responsibilities
- Work on research projects related to gene-editing and other research-related projects
- Assist in data acquisition and analysis, write-up the results, prepare scientific publications, draft research grants, and provide strategic guidance to ensure successful project outcomes
- Provide technical training, coaching and supervision of research team members and students
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A Ph.D. degree, preferably in Biological Science, Biomedical Science or other related disciplines
- Extensive experience in stem cell culture, gene-editing and CRISPR-Cas9 system
- Strong leadership experience with a proven track record of managing a research team and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Self-driven, motivated, and capable of executing project tasks and deliverables according to project requirements
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Able to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Animal handling experience is preferred
