Post-doctoral Fellow in Quantum Materials and Devices in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 532217)
We now invite applications for the captioned posts available in Prof. Zhong Wan’s group. Those with experience in quantum materials, low-temperature transport, and related field of experimental condensed matter physics are welcome to apply. The appointees will work with Prof. Zhong Wan to explore and understand exotic quantum states such as topological superconductivity, the quantum Hall and fractional quantum Hall effects, as well as the charge transport properties of quasiparticles in condensed matter systems. Requirements
- A Ph.D. degree in condensed matter physics, material science or chemistry is preferred
- An excellent command of written and spoken English
- The ability to work on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines
- The ability to work independently and in a team
What We Offer
The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
