About us
The DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centre SHARP ‘Simulation-based learning in higher edu-cation: Advancing research on process diagnos-tics and personalised interventions’ contributes to theory-building on personalised learning using simulations in higher education. As a joint re-search context, SHARP focuses on diagnosing and intervening as two highly relevant profession-al practices in many academic professions.
Subproject B05 examines how group characteris-tics (in terms of motivation, prior knowledge, and personality traits) and collaborative processes influence the quality of diagnostic and interven-tion decisions, and how these decisions can be supported while taking group characteristics into account. The open position is located at the Pro-fessorship for Psychology for Teaching and Learning (Prof. Doris Holzberger). The project is being conducted in collaboration with the Chair of Social Psychology at LMU and the Medical Edu-cation Center (MEC) at the TUM School of Medi-cine.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Your responsibilities include the planning and implementation of empirical studies on simu-lation-based learning, the collection, docu-mentation, and analysis of primary and sec-ondary data (including research synthesis), as well as contributing to scientific publications.
Your qualification
- You have an excellent Master´s degree in the field of educational psychology, educational research, or learning sciences.
- You are interested in interdisciplinary collabo-ration and working in research teams.
- You have very good knowledge of social science research methods and statistics.
- Experiences with research syntheses (e.g., meta-analyses) and video data analyses would be an advantage.
- You have very good written and spoken Eng-lish skills and good written and spoken Ger-man skills.
