PROJECT:

The project entitled ‘Dynamic cues guiding postnatal germline development in marmoset‘ focuses on single-cell transcriptome analysis of germ cell development in a non-human primate model. In this research project, state-of-the-art techniques will be employed including multi-spectral imaging, methylome analyses, RNA-Seq at single-cell and bulk levels, cell culture as well as bioinformatics analyses.

The project will be conducted in a strongly collaborative working environment between two internationally renowned Münster Institutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Biology or related subject (required) Strong commitment to research in a collaborative environment (required) Experience in reproductive biology (desired) Experience in cellular and molecular biology, including histology and cell culture (desired) Familiarity with using R and/or Python for answering biological questions (desired)
