Consequences or Error/Judgement
This position represents the University of British Columbia, the Faculty of Medicine, and the Department of Radiology in interactions with students, faculty, and staff. As such, the Teaching Assistant is expected to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion at all times. Errors in judgment—such as inappropriate communication with students, mishandling of confidential information, or failure to follow course policies—can negatively impact the learning environment, compromise academic integrity, and damage the reputation of the program and institution. The TA is responsible for managing assigned duties (e.g., grading, student support, tutorials) in a timely and accurate manner. Inconsistent or negligent performance may result in student dissatisfaction, academic appeals, or disruption to course delivery.
Supervision Received:

- Ability to manage course logistics on Canvas, including uploading materials, tracking grades, and assisting with online course tools.
