School of Physical & Occupational Therapy
Position Summary:
The Postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for the following;
- Capacity building with patient partners for research.
- Conduct qualitative research to understand the needs, experiences and challenges of people with rare musculosleketal conditions.
- Conduct quantitative analysis on functional outcomes for descriptive and modelling purposes.
- Partner with patient partners, clinicians and other team members for dissemination and implementation of research in practice.
- Develop content for a website for an international consortium.
- Training of junior trainees both in the lab year-round and as summer trainees from local and international universities.
This will be funded externally by the Shriner's with an annual salary of $50,000.
Qualifications:
PhD; prior training and experience in patient-oriented research, knowledge translation, qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #4 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
