The Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (JSGS) is recruiting a Graduate Research Assistant to work with Professor Haizhen Mou.
The Research Assistant will be assigned to:
- Help with grant applications;
- Help with ethics application, surveys, and interviews; and
- Other work as assigned.
The general location of work will be the Diefenbaker Building where JSGS is located.
Required Number of Hours: Casual, up to 12 hours per week
Duration of Employment: Immediately to December 19, 2025
Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a public policy-relevant social science discipline (i.e., political science, economics, etc.).
Preference will be given to applicants currently registered in a graduate program at JSGS at the University of Saskatchewan.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- Knowledge of quantitative research methods
- Experience doing literature reviews
- Experience doing ethics submissions
- Experience conducting surveys
- Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively
