Program Director, MBA (Technology and Digital Strategy)

The University of Sydney Business School is seeking a visionary Program Director to lead the MBA (Technology and Digital Strategy) program, a cutting-edge, fully online postgraduate management degree. About the Role
As the Program Director, you will be at the helm of an exciting and forward-thinking MBA program, ensuring its academic and operational excellence, global relevance, and competitiveness. You'll collaborate with the Business School Executive Leadership team, faculty, and professional staff to deliver a high-quality program that blends academic rigor with real-world, industry-aligned learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the program's strategic direction, curriculum design, and continuous improvement efforts to align with international accreditation standards (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA).
- Overseeing academic governance, quality assurance, and student engagement from marketing and recruitment through to alumni relations.
- Championing digital education innovation by leveraging technology to enhance online learning experiences and student engagement.
- Building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, alumni, and global education providers.
- Ensuring the program's success in fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in pedagogy.

The role is fractional (0.5 FTE) and is available to candidates at Level D or E (Associate Professor or Professor), with flexibility around your academic profile. You'll also be offered a 0.5 FTE continuing academic position in the School which aligns to your academic background and disciplinary area within the Business School, transitioning to a full 1.0 FTE position after a five-year term.

Term and remuneration
The role is fractional (0.5 FTE) and is available to candidates at Level D or E (Associate Professor or Professor). You'll also be offered a 0.5 FTE continuing academic position in the School which aligns to your academic background and disciplinary area within the Business School, transitioning to a full 1.0 FTE position after a five-year term.
The appointment is subject to completion of a satisfactory probation period for new appointees.
