Base salary will be in the range $100,554 - $109,496 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 7)

As the Principal Human Research Ethics Coordinator at The University of Queensland, you will lead complex ethics review processes, provide expert guidance to researchers, and ensure alignment with national and international ethics standards.

Key responsibilities will include:
Lead the coordination and review of human research ethics applications, ensuring alignment with relevant guidelines and legislation.
Provide high-level advice and support to researchers and ethics committees on ethical research design and compliance.
Manage the operations of Human Research Ethics Committees, including agendas, minutes, approvals, and communications.
Contribute to ethics education and training initiatives across the University and support continuous process improvement.

About You
Proven experience in research ethics, regulatory compliance, or a complex governance environment
Strong knowledge of national human research ethics guidelines and the ability to interpret and apply them
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical advice to a range of stakeholders
Demonstrated experience supporting high-level committees, including agenda preparation and minute-taking
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
Confident delivering training or contributing to professional development activities in a university or similar setting
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
