• Base salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

The School of Human Sciences is a large multi-disciplinary School that makes a significant contribution to teaching and research in the Physiology discipline. The School is ranked 30th in the world in the subject area of ‘Anatomy and Physiology’ (QS).

About the opportunity

• Contribute to world-class teaching in the degree programs of the School at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels
• Undertake independent and collaborative research to generate research outputs of high impact
• Contribute to the governance and collegial life within the School, across the University, and more broadly outside the institution

About you

• PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline
• Expertise in environmental, gastrointestinal, renal, or nutritional physiology
• Demonstrated ability, relative to opportunity, to deliver high quality teaching approaches, assessments, and materials for units and courses
• Expertise in pre-clinical science, including in vivo models, ex vivo tissue, in silico models, or computational biology
