The School of Engineering at The University of Western Australia (UWA) is a multidisciplinary school that delivers world-class education and research across various engineering disciplines, including biomedical, civil, environmental, mining, chemical, mechanical, electrical and electronic, and automation and robotics.

About the opportunity
- Deliver high-quality teaching across core first- and second-year engineering subjects while fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Develop innovative teaching strategies, assess student progress, supervise projects, and contribute to curriculum and assessment design.
- Participate in school governance, support diversity and inclusion, and contribute to university activities and professional communities.
About you
- PhD in Engineering or closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative teaching across a diverse range of fundamental engineering topics at the tertiary level.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, student-centred teaching and learning.
- Experience with modern pedagogical approaches, including blended learning, active learning, and the use of digital technologies in education.
- Demonstrable experience of participation at an appropriate level in education/research leadership in public engagements that promote research and/or education outcome, government and industry.
- Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels and evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity principles
