CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education Scholarships

The CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education Scholarships are available for:

  • Applicants who are nationals of Lebanon and ordinarily resident outside Great Britain, and;
  • Applicants who are ordinarily resident in the following countries:

                     • Netherlands
                     • Spain
                     • Turkey
                     • Italy
                     • Singapore
                     • Mexico
                     • Republic of Korea
                     • UAE
                     • Poland
                     • Vietnam
                     • Egypt
                     • Morocco

This Scholarship is potentially available to students commencing a Masters course of study in one of the following academic disciplines:

  • Advanced Computer Science MSc
  • Chemistry MSc by Research
  • Comparative Social Policy MSc
  • Economics for Development MSc
  • Education (Digital and Social Change) MSc
  • Education (Higher Education) MSc
  • Energy Systems MSc (FT and PT)
  • Engineering Science MSc by Research
  • Environmental Change and Management MSc
  • Financial Economics MSc
  • Law and Finance MSc
  • Major Programme Management MSc
  • Mathematical and Computational Finance MSc
  • Mathematical and Theoretical Physics MSc
  • Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing MSc
  • Mathematical Sciences MSc
  • Mathematics MSc by Research
  • Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science MSc
  • Nature, Society and Environmental Governance MSc
  • Public Policy Research MSc

However, for reasons of strategic priority or administrative practicality, the University may in any given year choose to select candidates from only a subset of the academic disciplines listed, and so there is no guarantee that all candidates falling within the list above will be considered for this scholarship.

Please note these scholarships are not open to those who have previously been funded through the CMA CGM Excellence Fund, at Oxford or any other institution.

The scholarships have been made possible through the support of the CMA CGM Group.

The scholarship covers course fees and a grant for living costs. Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course.

Selection is expected to take place by the end of May 2026.
