Young researchers in the field of neurology, radiology and pharmacy can apply for a Van Leersum grant for a working visit to a foreign university/institute from a Dutch university.

Who may apply

PhD candidates or researchers who obtained their PhD no more than four years previously.

About the KNAW Van Leersum Grant

The Van Leersum Grant is named after P. van Leersum, a corresponding member of the Academy.  His estate and the estate of Mrs I.G. Harbers-Kramer make up the Van Leersum Fund, which was established in 1922 and is part of the Academy’s Medical Sciences Fund.
