Objective

Graduates receive a scholarship to complete a master’s degree in Germany.


Who can apply?

Paraguayan graduates.


What can be funded?

Master programme at a German university and, where appropriate, in conjunction with a non-university research Institution.


Duration of the funding

The scholarships for master studies have a maximum duration of twenty-four (24) months.


Value

According to the cooperation agreement, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) covers the following costs and services:

  • Financing an intensive German course in Germany up to six (6) months
  • Financing accommodation and allowance during the German course in Germany
  • Financing health insurance, care insurance, casualty insurance and personal liability insurance during the funding period

According to the cooperation agreement the Paraguayan Ministry of Finance pays the following costs:


  • Financing the costs for the flight from Paraguay to Germany and back
  • Financing of the tuition fees up to a maximum amount from 10.000 EUR
  • Financing the living expenses with a monthly amount of 1.300,00 EUR
  • Research allowance of 450,00 EUR per year
  • One-off payment of 450,00 EUR for the return to Paraguay
