Job profile:

Your tasks:

  • Quantum information theory with a focus on quantum communication
  • Independent research in the field of quantum information theory with a focus on quantum communication, in particular on communication protocols based on quantum steering
  • Independent teaching in the field of theoretical physics
  • Participation in the supervision of students, scientific publications
  • Participation in conferences and congresses, training and further education
  • Administrative tasks

Your profile:

  • Completed Master's degree in physics or related disciplines with good academic performance; sound knowledge of theoretical physics, quantum information theory, quantum communication; programming skills in relevant programming languages
  • Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
