Offer Description

Your Responsibilities

  • Research on psychological predictors of ecologically sustainable behavior
  • Evaluation and development of interventions for behavioral change in the area of ecologically sustainable behavior
  • Support for ongoing research projects
  • Participation in the university's Fields of Excellence "Smart Regulation" or "Climate Change"
  • Preparation and submission of research proposals, conception and independent implementation of research projects
  • International publishing and presentation activities
  • Teaching social psychology and, if applicable, research methods
  • Supervision of students and examination activities
  • Collaboration on organizational and administrative tasks

Your Profile

  • Completed doctorate in psychology with verified knowledge in the fields of social psychology and environmental psychology
  • International presentations and publications in peer-reviewed psychology journals (including open science practices)
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Excellent skills in quantitative research methods and interest in qualitative research methods
  • Collaboration in interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research projects and science-to-public activities are desirable
  • Independent acquisition of competitive third-party funding is desirable
  • Teaching experience in social psychology is desirable
  • International experience is desirable
  • High level of social and communication skills
  • High motivation for academic excellence and an independent, organized, and self-reliant approach to work
  • Ability to lead and motivate students

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 70,200.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
