Employing Queensland: Innovative Pathways to Teaching (EQuIPT) program: Grow your Own Scholarship

For Bachelor of Education students, you'll receive a scholarship valued at $12,000. For Master of Teaching students, you'll receive a scholarship valued at $8,000.

The scholarship will be paid in instalments throughout your course of study and following confirmation of your enrolment after census date, commencing Semester 1, 2026.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must either be:

• an Australian citizen
• an Australian permanent resident.

You must:

You must be enrolled either full-time or part-time in one of the following courses at QUT:

• ED59 Bachelor of Education (Secondary)
• ED49 Bachelor of Education (Primary)
• ED39 Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
• EU50 Master of Teaching (Secondary)
• EU40 Master of Teaching (Primary)
• EU72 Maser of Teaching (Early Childhood).

You must apply directly to the Employing Queensland: Innovative Pathways to teaching (EQuIPT) program .  All students accepted into this program will receive a scholarship. You do not need to apply for the scholarship separately.

The Employing Queensland: Innovative Pathways to teaching (EQuIPT) program will contact you directly regarding the outcome of your application to the program.

To keep your scholarship, you must:

• be enrolled part time or full time in an eligible Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching course
• meet the requirements and be accepted into the Employing Queensland: Innovative Pathways to teaching (EQuIPT) program
• consent to the use of your image and testimonial in various media and marketing materials.

You can't:

QUT has been selected by the Federal Government to offer the Employing Queensland:  Innovative Pathways to Teaching (EQuIPT) program from 2025.  The program addresses critical teaching shortages in regional and remote Queensland Schools through employment-based pathways.  Participants will be awarded and paid incrementally across the degree to reduce financial barries to study.
