The Adrian Di Marco Women in Software Development Scholarship is offered by TechnologyOne and valued at $10,000 per year for up to three years for students who identify as female and are enrolled in an eligible course at Swinburne. Recipients will also be provided with opportunities to develop professional skills to support their chosen career through mentoring and other meaningful engagement opportunities offered by TechnologyOne, including an offer to participate in their internship program.

Adrian Di Marco started TechnologyOne in 1987, as one of the first tech startups in Australia. Adrian’s vision was to leverage new and emerging technology to revolutionise the industry and build true software products, here in Australia. Today, TechnologyOne is one of the most successful software firms on the ASX, with a market capitalisation of over $12 billion and more than 1,300 customers around the globe. In 2004, Adrian Di Marco won the Pearcey Award for innovative and pioneering achievement and contribution to research and development in IT, and in 2010 he was awarded Fellow of the Australian Computer Society. Throughout his career, Adrian’s visionary thinking, entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering courage in the face of challenges, allowed him to make the impossible possible, and drive innovations that have changed the face of the industry.

The Adrian Di Marco Women in Software Development Scholarship is awarded to a female student who embodies the attributes that Adrian demonstrated throughout his career, to become one of Australia’s greatest legacies in the software industry.

This scholarship is valued at up to $30,000 with $10,00 paid annually for up to three years.
