Minimum Education and Experience:


The ideal candidate will have:
· An MD or DO degree, or equivalent, and the appropriate board certifications for their career stage
· Postdoctoral research training
· Completion of institutional research training award, e.g., F32, T32, K12, or KL2
· Master's level training or higher in one or more relevant clinical research disciplines
· A research focus on the clinical epidemiology of one or more ACS content areas
· A strong track record of peer-reviewed first author original research articles
· A current individual K-award (K01, K08, or K23 award), R01, or comparable funding
· NIH Loan Repayment Program Awardee, currently pending R01 applications, and/or other evidence of readiness to become an R01-funded principal investigator, as appropriate for the candidate's career stage
· Participation in NIH study section as a grant reviewer
