Summary
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Anna Moszczynska, Ph.D., to study cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the anti-addictive properties of protein parkin in methamphetamine use disorder. Methamphetamine use disorder is a disorder without FDA-approved medication in need of new drug targets. Ubiquitin-protein ligase parkin is one of potential drug targets. The laboratory uses a rat model of methamphetamine use disorder and a variety of behavioral, molecular biology, and imaging methods in her research. The postdoctoral fellow will work in a collaborative and friendly laboratory with the PI who is strongly committed to mentoring young scientists.
