Position Summary:
Villanova University invites applications for a Continuing Non-Tenure Track Assistant Teaching professor position in Physics for undergraduate courses only. This position begins in August 2026 and is a 1 year appointment, renewable up to 3 years.
The teaching load for the position is 12 contact hours per semester. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester. The applicant must be committed to excellence in the teaching of Physics.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught. Other responsibilities include student advising, outreach, department service, and commitment to the Department, College and University strategic plans and mission. The candidate is also expected to maintain a presence on campus and be responsive to students as a full-time member of the faculty for the duration of the appointment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Physics or a closely related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience preferred.
