Qualifications
Classification & Compensation Specialist I: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 1 year of experience in compensation administration, human resources, customer service, or closely related field.
Classification & Compensation Specialist II: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 3 years of experience in compensation administration, human resources, or closely related field.
Classification & Compensation Specialist III: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 5 years of experience in compensation administration, human resources, or closely related field.
*Compensation and classification is based on the analyses of the above qualifications during the recruitment process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Analytical and report writing skills.
Oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
Ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong database administration and spreadsheet skills.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
Two years of experience in compensation administration, human resources.
TAMU experience.
Experience in applying and interpreting FLSA regulations.
Experience with database, spreadsheet, and word processing programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, including coursework in compensation administration.
Workday knowledge and experience.
