Assistant Athletic Trainer
Orthopaedics
Location: Covington, LA
Summary
Assists with all aspects of the Department's Sports Medicine Program. This position is clinic based. Must be able to work a variable schedule which could involve some nights and weekends.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency in emergency management of athletic injuries
Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, coaches, athletes, parents, and peers
Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree
Louisiana-LSBME Licensure at date of hire
NATABOC Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Prior experience as an Athletic Trainer
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "exempt, salaried" and is assigned to pay grade 24.
