About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of the Residential Cleaning Services team and be required to provide a high standard porterage, cleaning and waste management services to Queen Mary’s buildings and to lead a professional and customer focused service to staff, students and visitors.

About You

Applicants should hold GCSE English and Math’s or equivalent and full drivers license. Applicants should have a good command of the English language both written and verbal, candidates must be computer literate. You will be required to be able to carry out manual handling tasks and good customer communication and care skills. The role requires experience working in a customer focused team and knowledge of health and safety and COSHH practices in relation facilities management.

The Directorate is one of the largest departments within Queen Mary, University of London and is committed to supporting and promoting student wellbeing at the College, and providing the highest standards of estates and facilities across the university, preparing and helping to sustain the University’s working and learning environmental for students, staff, stakeholders, and guests by ensuring safe environments, security and cleanliness.
