About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Enterprise Applications to join the digital department based within Digital, Data and Technology.
This is a key leadership role with real influence over the University’s digital future as you will shape the direction of core business systems, lead impactful change, and work as part of a supportive senior leadership team.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic and technical leadership for the University’s enterprise applications and integrations
- Leading the Enterprise Applications team, overseeing service delivery, major system developments and system architecture
- Acting as a trusted advisor to academic and professional services, shaping solutions that improve services for students and staff.
This role offers scope to innovate, drive improvement and make a lasting contribution to a values-driven university.

About You
As Head of Enterprise Applications, you will have:
- Experience in digital leadership with a strong background in enterprise applications within a large organization
- Deep technical knowledge of enterprise systems, integrations and cloud platforms,
- Experience of leading teams, managing suppliers and delivering complex change
- Working knowledge of cyber security in the context of enterprise applications
- Ability to design and develop, manage, and support innovative and technically complex digital systems, integrations, solutions and services
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders
- Ability to problem solve complex technical and business issues with initiative and tenacity
- Ability to fully document and analyse technical specifications and requirements
