With over 21, 000 students and 1,200 faculty members, the university invites applications for 10-year full-time tenure track positions at all ranks in English with a specialty in ESL/TESOL to begin in in Fall 2026. Applicants should possess a PhD or master degree in a related discipline, with strong skills in second language acquisition, cross-cultural communication, language testing and assessment. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record of leading drama clubs.

The academic rank and the competitive compensation and benefits package – including free housing, health insurance, schooling, retirement contribution, home leave allowance and more – will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. High research candidates with established publication record may be considered for a special research track, generous research funding, up to RMB 900,000 (about USD $140K) in tax-FREE salary (pending nationality), and additional allowance besides standard benefit package, e.g. extra RMB one million in housing subsidy.
