Greenwich Business School is looking for an organised and detail-focused candidate to join the Faculty as a Standards and Conducts Officer. This important role supports the delivery of high-quality academic standards across the Faculty and plays a key role in ensuring assessment processes run smoothly, fairly and in line with university regulations.
This is an engaging and varied role within the Faculty’s assessment and quality team. You will contribute to maintaining robust academic standards, supporting examination processes, managing assessment misconduct cases and working closely with academic colleagues and professional services teams to ensure students receive fair and timely outcomes.
Key responsibilities in this role include
Supporting the organisation and delivery of examinations, including coordination of assessment papers, moderation processes and exam timetables.
Managing assessment misconduct processes within the Faculty, ensuring cases are handled fairly, efficiently and in line with university regulations.
Maintaining accurate records and systems relating to assessment, misconduct cases and external examination activity.
Supporting relationships with external examiners, ensuring appropriate assessment samples and documentation are available for review.
Working closely with academic colleagues, quality assurance teams and central services to ensure assessment processes operate effectively.
Providing advice and support to staff and students on assessment regulations and processes.
Contributing to continuous improvement of systems and processes to support the Faculty’s assessment and quality standards.
About you
We are looking for a candidate with strong organisational skills who is comfortable managing detailed processes and working with multiple stakeholders. You will be confident working with data and systems, able to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working collaboratively with academic staff, professional services teams and students. A strong customer service approach, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards will be essential in this role.
